Hands down the worst experience I ever had with a "professional" specialist in any field of medicine. I learned it was a mistake to ask a question when his reply was "who's the expert here?". I can't and won't put up with arrogant and degrading assholes.
I came to his office on the recommendation of a person who used to work in his office. I was experiencing complicated chronic symptoms for a while, and I'd visited a ton of doctors who couldn't give me an explanation for what I was experiencing. I recounted my complicated history to Dr. Desai and he said that I must be making my pain up in my head. He didn't take my concerns seriously, and he didn't give me any other helpful recommendations. Dr. Desai is hands down one of the best physicians I have ever been to. I have seen him a few times over the years for different injuries and he has always been attentive, patient, and has given excellent care. I have also had friends who have underwent surgery with Dr. Desai and the results have been amazing. He is the best foot and ankle surgeon in the metroplex and I would highly recommend him!
Can't comment on the doctor. I had an appointment schedule for 1:15 pm today. Came to the office a little early as requested and no one was there. Viola tried to "help" me in the hallway on her way out. She was rude and overly aggressive. Started yelling at me while I was on the phone trying to listen to some prompts. She didn't even tell me who she was for a while. When I told her my name she stated without even looking at a schedule or anything that she knew I was lying.
