Dr. Shawki cared for me first during a preterm labor scare and then when I went in to spontaneous labor at term; as a FTM and fellow provider, there have been few medical interactions as meaningful in my life. Dr. Shawki is warm and disarming while also being measured, direct, and technically skilled. She communicates her plans clearly, listens intently, advocates enthusiastically, and genuinely made me feel like a priority among her many laboring patients. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
One of the best out in the field! I was so hesitant who was assigned to us during NYU stay and can’t thank heavens enough she is my doctor! She’s very professional and the empathy from her, over the roof! Made things easier and gave me some pointers. I’m very happy with the service from her and I do not regret at all she was with me at OR! Thank you so much Dr. Sarah! She’s one of the best!
