I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience during my recent visit with Dr. Sarah Henkel at UIC. I scheduled a routine annual physical—an appointment fully covered by my insurance. However, I was later shocked to receive an unexpected bill of approximately $1,700, in addition to the charges submitted to my insurance.
