Dr. McKenna is an excellent provider. I really appreciate the clear and insightful advice she gives; it’s always spot on and very helpful. 5/5 stars!
Emily and Jasmine were of no help to me. Called for 3 weeks to get a prior authorization that ran me out of insulin. Emily was very loud and aggressive in her tone, overtalked me, sarcastic and condescending. She said she was part of the management team. One of the rudest individuals of all time. No call backs as requested ever. Just not a great office to deal with. Dr McKenna has always been wonderful, but why can't you leave a message for her directly and get a call back? Dr. McKenna is such a wonderful DR. I am very satisfied with her medical expertise. DR. McKenna always explains everything that is going on and never rushes. She has so much empathy for her patients, and always puts my mind at ease. DR. McKenna is a true professional.
The fact that she encourages communication for any concerns shows a commitment to providing comprehensive and attentive care. Our admiration for her bedside manner and how well she interacts with my 4-year-old is particularly noteworthy. As a doctor who has established a positive and comforting rapport with my family significantly contribute to a more pleasant and effective healthcare experience.
Very disappointed. Ordered an HIV test. Really? I’m 61 years old and have been married for 38 years. Now I’m stuck with the bill since insurance wouldn’t cover. When I called and asked why the test had been ordered I was told because people older than 18 can get one done per lifetime and that she told me she was ordering it. I’m pretty sure I would have remembered being told I was being screened for HIV. Also, call me old fashioned but I prefer Doctors to dress professionally.
