I can hardly begin to say enough positive things about Dr Sara Cate. I was diagnosed with Multifocal Breast Cancer in March 2024 and quickly got an appointment with Dr Cate. Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis is an extremely anxious time and Dr Cate put my fears to rest at the pre op appointment. Dr Cate explained everything to my husband and I in easy to understand terms but also in a professional manner. She took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions. I want to start by saying that I understand reviews can change the path a patient takes when choosing what type of care they want to receive. Dr. Cate has mostly glowing reviews online, however, I’m regretful that my experience was not as such. Dr. Cate was referred to me by an obgyn I had seen only one time. I believe she was new to the Stamford health system. I knew I needed surgery for a breast lump so I went to schedule it, and from there, the whole experience was chaotic and rushed.
