Her bed side manners are amazing, she truly cares about her Patients and she will listen to all of your concerns, and she will do this without rushing you, she makes you feel extremely comfortable and at ease when you are with her, it is always a pleasure to see her and her awesome Staff, they are all great people as well .. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dr. Canavan is wonderful! I came to her for my first colonoscopy to screen for colon cancer at age 50. (NEW recommended age is now 45 with no family history of colon cancer) This colonoscopy saved my life. Dr. Canavan found and removed a tumor which pathology came back at stage 3 colon cancer. Dr. Canavan was so kind, and compassionate when she broke the news to me and she walked with me through recommendations for a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Casillas-Romero for my colon resection and the best... read more
I had my first visit with Dr Canavan after my prior Dr retired. Because I previously had colon cancer, I am very diligent about continuing care. She has great communication skills and demonstrates deep knowledge. I look forward to seeing her again.
