I am a new patient to Dr. Yap, but new to Riverside. A few weeks back I had a terrible experience with a fellow Riverside doctor, who made me feel absolutely terrible about myself, and I will never go back to that doctor. I almost left Riverside as a patient all together because of it. I was so nervous going into this appointment with Sara, but her MA assured me how wonderful she is. She was absolutely right! I have been a patient of Dr. Yap since she started at Riverside Endocrinology. She is my 4th endocrinologist and I could not be happier. She listens to me about my health issues and does what is best to lower my A1C. When my blood sugar levels were all over the chart Dr. Yap got me back on track! She also introduced me to the Dexcom meter I wear on my arm and I love it. I no longer have to poke my finger. I highly recommend Dr. Yap!!
