One star is too generous. It’s been 6 days since my swab was submitted. So much for the advertised 24 hr turnaround time. Totally unacceptable.
I am a Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB). Under federal law (Section 1902(n)(3)(B) of the Social Security Act), providers are strictly prohibited from billing QMBs for Medicare copays. Despite a phone call where SaraPath staff acknowledged the error and promised to 'fix the system,' they continue to harass me with bills for $19.72. This is illegal 'Balance Billing.' If you are a QMB or on Medicaid, watch this provider’s billing practices very carefully.
