Sara is a natural photographer. She has taken many photos of our kids and our family, and they are all beautiful-- but that's not the best reason to hire her. You should hire her because she is tuned into her subjects' emotions, and she's incredibly sensitive to those emotions. I'm not one of those gorgeous San Francisco moms who looks like she stepped out of a yoga class and a hair salon simultaneously. I have a 4yr old daughter who is extremely finicky about having her picture taken but with Sara she lights up. Sara's photo's are wonderful for catching the moments you wish you could always remember without being contrived. I feel lucky to have found Sara and as she is so easy to work with and very professional I even had her do some head shots for myself. It was an effortless experience and Sara made me feel entirely comfortable in front of the camera. I will look forward to hiring her in the future.
Sara has a warmness about her that transcends through her photography. She has documented every milestone of our growing family since 2010 - maternity, newborn, holiday, birthdays, etc. My biggest dilemma is selecting photos when I love them all but I don't have to select because unlike almost all other photographers, Sara gives you ALL of your photos!! Sara is a fantastic family photographer and we really enjoy working with her! She has taken our family photographs for a few years and we are looking forward to our next shoot with Sara coming up in October. I love the variety of shots she gets, both "posed" and in candid moments. Her eye for backgrounds, detail, lighting, and angles is great and we have always been very pleased with the photos.
