My doctor left and I was assigned to Dr. Hashemian. She is very rude and very unpleasant. She has absolutely no patience with patients and behaves in an extremely impatient manner. She asked me to perform a colon cancer screening using a stool kit and pap smear, and I did all. However, I never received the test results. When I asked her why I hadn't received them in my portal, she simply and rudely replied that she had received them, and then didn't answer my questions anymore. What kind of logic is that? My regular doctor left and so I was paired with Hashemian. My Medicare wellness check was one I won’t forget. She was short, disinterested, and told me the AMA says people can’t comprehend dealing with more than two issues in one visit so my questions should be limited!!!!! She knew nothing about menopause, suggesting HRT would give me cancer. I’ll never forget the day she made me leave crying by downplaying my painful symptoms and calling me a tired anxious mom then trying to pick a fight with me when I tried to politely speak up for myself by saying “calm down why are you so defensive.”
I am a new patient and was extremely impressed with the care and attention to details.
Dr. Hashemian is the best pcp I’ve had. She takes time to answer all of your questions and concerns while taking time to get to know you as a person. She’s been my primary since relocating back to Michigan after surviving a massive stroke 6/4/18;and, she’s been magnificent as a pcp and asavocsl supports of my recovery. The staff are friendly, professional,and helpful with all of your needs. I highly recommend Dr.. Sarah Hashemian as a PCP. She’s punctual and will tell you what you need to hear to be healthy
