Terrible Sushi This restaurant had the worst sushi I have ever had. It was mushy/moist, not a normal sushi consistency. We tried 4 different types of sushi and were disappointed in all of them. One had a very smoky salmon taste, but it was gross, not a flavor sushi should have. The rest were very bland tasting. The spicy mayonnaise wasn't spicy. I will never eat here again. The sushi prices were cheaper than any other place I've been for sushi, but it was a total waste of money and I regretted eating it. Don't waste your tim... read more
artsiren I lOVE Sapporo. I've tried other sushi - Haiku, Shoku, others -- and think Sapporo has the best sushi of any of them! Everything always tastes fresh, the owners are wonderful, the food is addictive. And unlike the other reviews, I prefer the broth to the miso soup. Westerville sunset roll is great!
My personal favorite sushi in Columbus, for no explainable reason For some reason, I just love Sapporo Wind. I know its been around for a while, although I don't think its the oldest. I think I like it best because others had recommended it to me as the best and I just agreed. The coolest thing about this place is the "boat". I think all sushi restaurants have a "boat", though. I highly recommend it for a couple eating out. Its basically this big, cool boat with sushi and little plates of food all over it. Its definitely eno... read more
BillS Sapporo Sushi Factory, formerly known as Sapporo Wind when it was on Cleveland Avenue, is probably the best deal on sushi in town. Their handroll special is amazing. Large and tasty. The sushi lunch is awesome. Stick to their miso soup and forget the broth. The owner is the sushi chef and if there is a problem, he will make it right. You have to ask. I've maybe done that once in a hundred visits.
