This is definitely the best place to be If you love sushi, then this is definitely the best place to be for you and your Japanese food-loving friends. You'll not get disappointed with what you will get here.
Love sushi! I love this place and their sushi bar is the best I have ever seen! The price is right and I eat here at least twice a week! I have never had a single problem here!
Sapporo Japanese Steak-House is THE BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT EVER This is the best Japanese restaurant you can ever eat at. The experience is excellent with chefs who cook infront of you on the hibachi grill. The sesame chicken and scallops and fire-grilled shrimp are so tasty, along with the ginger dressing i'm still trying to get the recipe for.
Sapporo The sushi bar here is wonderful! Be sure to go there around 4 to get $1 sushi. The hibachi portion is also very nice. The food and drink are all reasonably priced.
The food is great, the problem is that when you go to eat there, the server is made to give about 8% of the cost of your check to the cooks, sushi and teppan. That means that If the servers sales aare $1000 that nite, the restaurant gets about $80 dollars of her tips. It is unfair and esentially stealing.
Not very appetizing – The atmosphere in this restaurant is anything but up to date. You would think that a hibachi grill would try to upkeep and maintain the quality of the atmosphere, but this one falls short of impressiveness, let alone cleanliness. The sushi is also amongst the bottom tier. I would not recommend this sushi.
Great Beachside Japanese – I LOVE SAPPORO'S! I love sushi! They have a great menu, as well as great sushi! Check out their floating sushi bar. There is also a hibachi room for those wanting steak and seafood. Prices are as expected.
Identity is a Restaurant's Critical Niche Over 15 years ago, Daytona Beach had few truly unique restaurants with a specifically ethnic flavor, notably missing was Japanese cuisine. Sapporos was the exception then; although currently several other Japanese venues have appeared, due to the wave of growth, and cultural expansion Daytona has experienced in recent years.
