Don't waste your money. Take your kids up for the view only. No kid's menu. Banquet food for the price of a fine restaurant. The butter is wierd, chef salad was a dud, chicken was dry, and the baked potatoes were cold. My two children shared a steak and they said it was mid. On a good note, the water was fresh and the staff was very polite.
My mother loves the view from Sapphires, so she and I eat breakfast there about once a month. Lately, we have had some of the most amazing food (biscuits and gravy are some of the best I've ever eaten), and the service has been wonderful!
We were swinging in to try a new place, we ordered the Salmon and the ribeye. The salmon was alright, STRONG hint of an herbal flavor on the blacked seasoning, but overall okay. My husband ordered his ribeye medium rare, meaning warm red center. The first time his steak came out, it was practically well done. He rightfully sent it back, without eating any, and asked that a new steak be prepared at medium rare temperature. He received a new steak that could be considered Blue Rare. I travel for work and as such, I am constantly eating out. I can not say how impressed I am with this restaurant and it's staff. For me, the food is far less important than the service received. Trinity and Amanda made sure I never had an empty cup, and they were not afraid to have conversations with me. They were the epitome of service with a smile and have ensured that any time I'm in the Jefferson City area that I will be eating here.
