Recently purchased a Peugeot 108 from Steve. Found him very helpful, knowledgeable and very easy going. Brilliant car and value for money. Highly recommend.
Awful service, company seemed to pray on vulnerable woman and kept making excuses for repair time. Sold a yellow Mini, day one engine management light came on, sorted after a few days, then the rear screen wouldnt demist, which is odd as had an MOT not long before !!!and neither of the NS door open from inside or out, it has taken over 3months for parts to come in, vehicle not fully diagnosed so unsure how they knew what parts were. In a nut shell Steve was rude, agressive and very pushy. Beware of any cars from here.
My wife purchased a VW Up from Sapphire Cars in March 2024. The battery caused issues on our test drive and that was replaced immediately. We also queried the operation of the aircon and Steve said if it caused issues he would re-gas it for us. Once the summer eventually arrived it was obvious the aircon was not working so, true to his word, Steve had it re-gassed for us. It worked for one day and then stopped. **AVOID!!!** Brought a car for 3k off this guy and the head gasket went after 6 weeks and he told me ‘it’s just one of those things’!! I have provided evidence that this was not user error and also have reports from the aa when they came out. I have sent 2 emails/letters so far requesting a refund/repair under the consumer rights act and had no response at all! I will now be taking this through the small claims court. This whole thing has caused an unimaginable amount of stress and financial hardship to myself!
