Disappointed The first time we went to Saphron's for a special occasion, they had lost our reservation but were able to seat us anyway.
Don't Trust This Place Seems like all these reviews are fake besides the bad ones, bashing other restaurants, saying you've dined everywhere but only have one review in your profile. Something seems off about this, not to mention I've heard a cook there sells drugs out of the back of the place.
no recommendations here I was pleasently surprised to hear there was a fine dining establishment in Prince Frederick. My family told me not yo be discouraged about the meal when I was given a bed of free s with dressing...nothing else. We continued to wait for 45 minutes for appetizers (when they should be served before salad) and asked for bread and received a plate of toasted dry bread that was stale and we were charged $2.50. Great meal, nice place My wife and I met my college daughter there for dinner Friday night. Great crab dip and mussels for appetizers. They brought warm bread before the food came. My wife had shrimp and grits, loved it. I had a house salad (nothing special) and filet mignon, which was great. My daughter had shrimp scampi and it was good, but nothing special.
Disappointing experience Had dinner there on Sat. night. in the new location. A mediocre meal at a high dollar price, $140 for two including tip. Service was unpolished: Extra place settings not removed, no salt & pepper,no sugar. Meal was just what you would expect in a chain restaurant. Not bad, but not what you expect for $25pp, plus add. $8 or 9 for a regular salad. Had to ask for bread/rolls.The bread was garlic bread. It had been toasted, but was cold and hard. The BEST in Prince Frederick! What a delightful experience. I have dined in countless 5star restaurants,and Saphron should be on the map! Service is impeccable, food is exceptional and atmosphere has an unequal abience. Just absolute delisciousness! YUM!
