Dr. Oommen was my electrophysiologist for several years while he was practicing in Albuquerque. He always had time for my concerns and worked with my medications until the right combination was found. A gentleman through and through. He is well trained and I would say an expert in his discipline.
When I first met Dr Oommen I was impressed by his demeanor and attitude as a doctor and we scheduled an atrial flutter ablation, an internal kind of heart surgery. I saw him for about five minutes after I awoke from the anesthesia but was still loopy from it and remember little about what he said. After that he did not come to the hospital to discuss the procedure when I was fully awake, did not leave any instructions that I was aware of, and was not there for my release the next day.
