I was initially very pleased with Dr Menon who I was referred to after an ER visit. I later found out he coded the visit for something other than the follow up. As a result, this office visit is not being covered by my insurance. I have requested multiple reviews which the office manager has denied. My insurance advocate has reviewed the notes and confirmed that the visit would be covered if it’s coded correctly. Dr Menon was my attending physician while at Christ Hospital and I can not say enough for his expertise and bedside manner. I strongly feel I received the best possible care as well as answering my questions and making me feel comfortable with my new Diagnosis.
