Got this place today, my goodness the calzone here was the best I ever had. I would give it a 10 out of 10. My wife got a pizza and it looked great too, I definitely will get from here again.
Good food but you have to get your food. They don't serve you from the table.
I'm not a bit review guy...I've written a couple in the last decade so being motivated to write one says a lot about this place. We ordered a "specialty pizza"...something that wasn't on the menu per se but was close to a family favorite going all the way to our Italy days. I didn't expect much as it was always made with "grandma in the kitchen" love. But when we were served this custom pizza from their kitchen it felt like grandma when in and cooked it herself. I had a 14" pizza that was awful. It tasted like cafeteria pizza from high school. The crust looked and tasted like it was premade (made by a supplier) and delivered frozen. It did not appear or taste to be hand tossed dough made fresh. ON TOP OF THAT, it was ridiculously expensive. It cost $26 for a 14" with two toppings. I won't be ordering from them again. I would have expected to pay far less for the taste and quality received.
Fresh, generous portions. Friendly staff, comfy seats. I got the 3 portion catfish because I'm used to chicken tender sized filets, but these filled the plate. Everything freshly prepared. We'll worth the visit.
