I was seen today, I’m unclear why people have had an issue with this location. I had excellent care, the receptionist and billing department were great! The nurse was knowledgeable and very compassionate. The doctor was great I will be back! Thank you so much for your compassion and expertise!
Don’t waste your time at this facility . There is one receptionist who I absolutely adore , she’s the kindest woman I’ve ever met . Other than her , they could care less about you and your problems . They want to get paid and go home like most of the medical industry these days . Drive to Charleston if you want serious help .
I just had the absolutely worst experience of my life at the Santee, SC urgent care facility. I went there to be seen with a very swollen and painful ankle, I couldn’t walk and needed a wheelchair . Well as it would be this guy dressed up in a nurse uniform came to the door only to tell me to go home and return the next day. I arrived there at 7:15 and it is posted on the door (open until 8:00)pm) Why me? REALLY!!! Who does that? A caring nurse with some compassion would have done otherwise. Called on the way and the woman was very nice and pulled my info up so I could be prechecked in. I got there and I was quick to be seen. I had a couple of swabs and sure enough it was the Flu. Got some advice and meds and the man talked to me for a while, I wasn’t rushed at all.
