Santee Cooper does a lot for our community and I love them ❤️ If you sign up for their energy savings device you can lower your bills. Also, to save yourself frustration with pay by phone, simply use their website or their app. If you're computer challenged, just get some help. We are very pleased with Santee Cooper!
When you have to pay your electric bill over the phone,it's 10 minutes of automated ridiculousness. You also have to put in your bank card number every month and also have an 18 digit confirmation code. They really could shorten the call so you can just pay and go!
Raises prices during certain hours knowing it will greatly hurt customers and businesses. Selfish, greedy company
Raising electric price during peak hours should be illegal and if there wasn't a monopoly on electric providers they'd be out of business
