I owned a home here, and like most others have mentioned items were not resolved before closing. At the 1 year mark we were still trying to get all the items repaired. Grading of the lot was a joke, construction debris were constantly being found in the yard. This builder does not stand by their warranty. Even with new builds you need to get a 3rd party inspection. And don't listen to the construction manager the 2 that we had while there flat out lied to us.
I've lived in a house built by Centex home for 3 years now. Prior to closing, our walk through went smooth. There were some dings and scratches by the manager addressed them, I forgot his name (maybe Scott?) I had this house also checked by a third party reputable city inspector close to the one year mark. There were MINOR things, such as the caps on the brick columns missing, missing paint near windows.
