Marion County is not helping their seniors to obtain the Covid Vaccine. We registered at 6:00 am on December 28, and we are still waiting. My husband has cancer and I have a brain tumor.........and we are just waiting for a call.......isn’t that pathetic?
RecommendedJust came from getting my mom her COVID shot. The entire experience was beautifully planned out!! Everyone was polite and helpful and the process took 45 minutes!! Great job everyone!!

I've tried every day since 12/30 to get an appointment for the vaccine. Every time it goes from "not yet for sale" to "unavailable" to "sold out" within 5 minutes or less! today was less than 2 minutes! Never even get the "register" button to show! All this while I'm watching on 3 separate devices! The appointment site you are using sucks! BIG TIME SUCKS! You need a better method for scheduling! FIX IT!!!!
This system of appointments for the COVID19 vaccine is the biggest cluster F—-. I’ve every encountered. You people need to get your head out of your a—-. Set up a system where people go to your website and put their information in and get assigned a number for their group. When vaccines come in you broadcast which numbers are next. When the group is up ex: 65 and older you say numbers 5000 to 6000 in this group only can go to a site. They will check your number against the computer is match it and then get the shot. As a community Family Physician, i was online trying to get my older parents a vaccine appt, for 4 days, both at 2pm and 3pm each day exactly before the time window and had multiple devices open to try to secure a vaccine date for my parents with comorbidities, without luck. The ticket booking system you use isnt working for our more tech saavy generation , so how will it work for our community's older patients that dont know how to use technology without assistance? After three unsuccessful attempts to register for the event online, I was successful at getting through at 3PM today. The window stated I should wait while they search for my tickets. 16 minutes later, the window changed stating the event was sold out. I give up. Your method is totally useless. But I'm betting your staff gets a perverse pleasure out of watching old people race to get registered.

Absolutely hate this health department came 15 early to my appointment waited for a hour back in the room and no one came in.
