Again, I have made multiple calls to this place. They refuse to give me any samples they refuse to give me Rinvoq. They charged me $8000 for a colonoscopy they refused to bill my insurance they refuse to work with my insurance. My insurance won’t pay the bill. They don’t want me on medication. I’ve missed work being sick with my colitis. They don’t care. They cancelled 3 appointments on me and waited 3 months for test results that were positive and should have been taken care of. Also I was having issues with a referral. I asked the front desk to fax my referral to my insurance directly and she refused three times

I've had consistently frustrating experiences with the front office, call center, and medical assistants at Santa Maria Gastroenterology. The administrative side of this practice seriously lacks customer service. The front office staff are often rude, unhelpful, and difficult to reach by phone. Scheduling appointments is unnecessarily frustrating, and getting a response through the patient portal can take much longer than it should.
