Beautifully restored to honor the Omaha Italian heritage
I really want to support something creative and historic, but the Santa Lucia Festival Omaha, NE is in such poor taste this year. Our entire neighborhood lost power and they are hosting it at the end of our street with numerous generators, while we are literally throwing everything in our fridges away or paying for hotels. The Santa Lucia Festival is a tradition that is incredibly special to me and I'm so proud to be part of it. It warms my heart to see these old traditions being honored. This festival holds a special place in my heart for many reasons, especially because my great-great-grandparents brought it over from Carlentini.
