Fabulous Mozart Requiem at the Mello Center. The only disapointment was the choice of Baritone. Should have been a more powerful bass baritone, not lyric baritone. Still a great show.
We attended an open rehearsal and were delighted to see how the conductor, Daniel Stewart, interacts with the musicians: he encourages questions and suggestions from the musicians and treats them as equals. It's such a pleasure to see great collaboration like this. Tickets to regular performances are not cheap, but seeing this rehearsal inspired me to buy two for an upcoming performance. I can hardly wait!
This venue is huge, clean, and had a snack bar at the entrance. What more could you ask for?
