I have a brass and white iron bed. I gave him the knobs and posts to polish and clear coat. They are better than they were, but now my knobs have multiple dents and they have some kind of black crud on them that won’t come off. They were wrapped in newspaper so at first I thought it was newsprint. But it’s something else. For $100 an hour cash I expected (premium pricing) I expected premium work, (not).

Was expecting a better Polishing job for the years of experience he has, he didn't come through with what i asked to be done with the item, which he quoted me $200, but negotiated down the price. He said turn around time would be couple weeks, but instead he called to come pickup the brass item in about 4 days! Hmmm! 🤔 He kinda gave me the impression he really didn't want to do the job in the first place, but he gladly took my money!!! Gonna have to take it to another place to have it finished off.... Unsatisfied Customer!

Ian is old school, in the best sense: hands-on old British chap, running a can-do, fix-anything-electrical-&-lighting kind of operation. He does great work & is WAY worth supporting !
