It's a bit too steep for the handicapped
Extremely disappointed the lake can only be access 4 days out of the week now Thursday through Sunday. Some tax paying citizens like myself work on the weekends and can't afford to take days off just to come out to the lake. I just bought a year pass for no reason! I guess its won't be seeing this place for a while.
Peaceful spot with easy access. We were welcomed by a friendly ranger on arrival. Signs recommend packing up around 7:30 PM and being out by 8:00. There’s a nice, easy hike around the lake with shaded areas along the way. Plenty of parking, and we saw folks enjoying fishing and boating too. Great spot for a laid-back afternoon.
