I’m writing this review because I truly hope no other grieving family has to go through what we did with this company. My family ordered a gravestone for our mother from Santa Barbara Monumental Co. in November 2024. We did not receive any notification that it was going to be delivered to the cemetery - we were told after it was delivered. And Ryan, who was handling our order, said the cemetery will install it. I am surprised not to see more terrible reviews regarding SBM... we had a terrible months-long experience trying to sort out a grave marker for my uncle who passed away in December 2024. We went in person one day to see Ryan and we were lulled into a false sense of security based on how quickly he seemed to take our design preferences into consideration. No response from them after email attempts. I had to call to actually talk to someone and left a message with the front desk. They never called me back until I called them again. Terrible service. Stay away!
this company etched our address on the Roc and it came out amazing! There also just wonderful people (Ryan!) so grateful.
