EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE – For over 10 years, Santa Barbara Koi has done an excellent job in maintaining two ponds on the estate I manage. The previous pond company claimed the largest pond could not be stocked with koi due to its limitations, and Mark Davis has proved that statement was wrong. Thank You Santa Barbara Koi – I want to say a big thank you to Mark and Jill Davis and there excellent crew for taking care of our koi pound for the last 15 years. We had an accident a couple years ago when a gallon of paint fell into our koi pound when our house was being painted. Mark rushed right over and spent all day and through the night saving our very expensive Kol. It took over four weeks of medicating and coming over every day to get our koi healthy again. BEST FISH IN TOWN – We have watched the development of SBKoi from its beginning and have always been impressed by their professional approach to pond construction & maintenance as well as fish care. When I get sick to must go TO the doctor; if your fish ever get sick Mark & Jill will come OUT and take care of them including bringing them back to a "safe pond" until they are well and their home pond has been corrected. KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROMPT, CURTEOUS – Santa Barbara Koi has provided my pond service for the past 7 years and I could not ask for more knowledgeable, efficient or courteous service. SAVVY ABOUT KOI – ?Our pond was constructed in 2002.Mark Davis was involved in the design of the filtering system and in pond lighting. We have been very pleased with the outcome. Reliable and Trustworthy – In my experience, I rely on reputation through word-of-mouth from people that I trust. In the case of Santa Barbara Koi, I asked my contractor for a first-rate pool and fountain service and was given Mark's name and number. In the five years, or so I've been using Santa Barbara Koi I could not be more satisfied. Recently, Mark contacted me regarding a problem with my pump. Very poor customer relations – Do not waste your time with this guy. He talks a big talk but has zero follow through skills. Made several appointments for a detailed residential pond installation and service job that he never kept or even called to reschedule. Every time I called to ask where he or his crew were he would set another date but again would not show. Wasted my time four times in a two week span waiting around for him to show each time!
