Santa Barbara bride sent 2 girls over to do hair and makeup for me and my 6 bridesmaids. When coordinating services, there were some interactions with Allison over email that came across a little curt, but I wanted to still write a review for the actual services the day of my wedding. I hired Allison and her team to do hair and make up for my five bridesmaids, mom and I. On my wedding day Santa Barbara Bride had everyone looking their best. My girl's glowed with looks ranging from natural to glamorous (however no one was left looking over or under done). I would definitely recommend SB Bride to anyone looking for a detail oriented and artful hair and make up. Thanks to Becky from Santa Barbara Bride, I was told by several wedding guests that I was the “bell of the ball”. And I wasn’t even the bride! Becky did both my hair and makeup, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. She was communicative, gracious, and very professional. Arranging for services was so easy . I would highly recommend Santa Barbara Bride to anyone for any occasion. Expect to look amazing!

I would NOT recommend hiring Santa Barbara Bride and Allison. They are unprofessional, inflexible, and rude. Even though our wedding was over a month away, they were unable to adjust the timeline (even though they said they would, but then went back on their word - all because they didn't want to get up too early), unable to change the number of services, and very difficult to communicate with. Out of the 13 vendors we were using for our wedding, this is the only one that didn't go the extra mile to make the big day special.... read more

Allison and her team of artists are wonderful to work with. The communication was always timely and informative and the artists were incredibly talented. Cheryl and Candiss worked their magic on me, (the mother of the groom), my mom and my aunt to transform us for my son's wedding. Our makeup was beautiful and our hair was gorgeous. Everything lasted!
