I’m giving Public Health 1 star because of how alienating their approach feels when it comes to feeding support. I went into parenthood wanting to breastfeed, but my journey didn’t work out the way I hoped. Instead of feeling supported, I felt constantly bombarded by posters, pamphlets, nurses, and even the TVs at public health pushing breastfeeding as the only way — with no mention of formula at all.
