If I could give 0 stars I would. I have always been fine with the care my children received from the physicians, and there is one male nurse who is on call often who is spectacular-extremely knowledgeable and caring. But the front desk staff is atrocious. Not only does it take 20 mins plus for them to answer the phone, when they do answer they are dismissive, condescending, and entirely unhelpful. Every time we’ve gone here we’ve felt incredibly judged and uncomfortable. Why? Because our son is on a delayed vaccination schedule and we will not allow aluminum vaccines in his body. And, surprise, they don’t offer those. Our 1st visit was over a year ago and we tried to start a discussion on vaccines and with every single question we had, we were answered by, “we follow the CDC guidelines.” Nothing else. We decided to switch to Karen Johnson based on great reviews, but our experience has been mixed. My rating is based on customer service, quality of care, professionalism, and overall efficiency. First impressions matter, and the new signage at the entrance instructing “PAYING PATIENTS HOW TO BEHAVE” is unprofessional—perhaps more focus should be placed on ensuring the establishment runs smoothly and respectfully. Spoke with a guy about making an appointment for my daughter’s potential ear infection. He went out of his way to say it wasn’t a big deal and they want to keep opening for more serious conditions. I guess it needs to get worse before they see her? The rest of the conversation he was not helpful and I’d even say rude.
