Our Professional Group was looking for a place downtown to hold a lunchtime meeting for 30-50 folks. Sankofa was perfect and exceeded expectations! Very easy to work with from first call to completion of event and the space was PERFECT for our group. Very nicely set up as well, with decorations coordinated with input from us requested in advance.
Beautiful views and easy to work with! Great space for an intimate gathering and being up a few floors makes it feel like an exclusive location.
I had an opportunity to see this place and perform there. The view of the city is excellent and the atmosphere was very intimate. It's a really nice space and location.
Event Space is spacious, clean, roomy enough for a small intimate event(the best kind), plus the atmosphere is very inviting OH AND DID I MENTION THE VIEW.....THE VIEW over the river especially for a sunset event is phenomenal!!!!
I visited the Sankofa Event Space during a live Smooth Jazz event where I had the privilege of listening to great music while watching the sunset over downtown Wilmington and the Cape Fear River. I found this space to be cozy, comfortable, and inviting. Its large wall of windows truly sets the atmosphere.
