I had one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered at Paloma Medical Group with Dr. Sanjivan S. Kohli. As a new patient referred for serious lung-related concerns, I expected at the very least a proper medical evaluation and basic professional courtesy. Such incompetent staff They could NOT reffer me to a descent surgeon for my lung biopsy in more than 3 months; where my condition gets worse through time (as Dr. Kohli informed me). So, finally, CalOptima assigned one.
I can’t say enough good things about both Dr. Kohli and his office staff. I have had him as my pulmonologist after having a pulmonary embolism and every time I visit him both he and his staff go way above and beyond to provide the highest quality care. He has been instrumental in helping me recover from a very scary health condition.
I received a referral to this office because of my insurance. First, it took months to get an appointment with Dr. Kohli. Then the appointment felt rushed but he did inform me that he was going to order a sleep study as I have been ill for quite awhile. That was in early June. Today is August 18th and I still have not received a follow up appointment. I have called multiple times and the unhelpful desk just says that Dr. Kohli didn't tell them what kind of sleep study he wanted to order so they will "send" him another messag... read more
