I came here last year (2024) and my monthly payment was $51. I had to stop going because work got too busy. I come back this year and it's been less than a year but now they want to charge me $256 month! I'm very unhappy about this and this was my last straw for getting help. Since I can't afford mental health services anymore I don't know what to do. Seems they care more about money than actually helping people to charge me over 200% more than last time. The psychiatrists are horrible, do not hear you, and talk to you disrespectfully. It's like pulling teeth when trying to get the medication that is properly needed, especially when you get clearance from your pcp for it.
The worst place to go! They called my doctor telling them not give me anymore of my medication. That they were going to take care of me went to get a refill and they told me no I now have to find a new doctor and new shrink. The shrink i had as well was not great at all she judged me before she even got to know me.
The only place that my child has ever felt understood by. A great place for autistic children. This place and the people who work here are truly the only people who I really trust working with my son. He is so good with them. He was so happy when he would come home. I recently switched centers & could notice a dramatic change in his behavior. I was with sanilac CMH for about 8 years. I definitely do NOT recommend it. If anything, CMH has made my mental health worse. I suffer from suicidal thoughts and tendencies and I always felt on eggshells trying to talk to them about anything. Any mention of even having a brief thought of suicide would put me back in the emergency room to wait for a psych evaluation where I would have to lie to get out of it.
