My husband and I just enjoyed Thanksgiving in Sanibel Blue Lagoon. These are the things that we liked best. Location, location, location. Sand Pointe sits at about the mid point on West Gulf Drive, nearly the same distance from the east end of Sanibel as from Captiva. It’s a quiet and uncrowded location, but with quick access to dining, shops, Ding Darling and Bailey Matthews Shell Museum. The beach is a quick walk down a boardwalk past the lagoon and the complex’s beautiful pool. We found the shelling and photography opportunities excellent because of the pristine condition of the beach and the lack of hordes of shellers. It’s a very private location. Sanibel Blue Lagoon boasts a roomy balcony that is accessed from both the den and the master. It’s well furnished and offers spectacular views of the lagoon and the gulf. The master bed has a comfy king with a mattress that’s just right. This is one comfortable condo! We loved the small size of the complex and the covered parking. Best of all are Sanibel Blue Lagoon’s owners. When we were a little bit late arriving on our first evening, Jeff and Lynn emailed to make sure that everything was okay, that we had found the unit and that everything was in order. More communicative and helpful owners will not be found. You’ll not want to leave this place! We promise.
Thanks Mary, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We couldn't agree more, there's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the quiet beach with our feet in the warm water. Take care! 😎
