My husband and I just enjoyed Thanksgiving in Sanibel Blue Lagoon. These are the things that we liked best. Location, location, location. Sand Pointe sits at about the mid point on West Gulf Drive, nearly the same distance from the east end of Sanibel as from Captiva. It’s a quiet and uncrowded location, but with quick access to dining, shops, Ding Darling and Bailey Matthews Shell Museum.
