I never give bad reviews but I am sorry to say that I would not recommend her at all. She is so abrasive, almost to the point of being rude. She wouldn't give me meds I need for my bone issues, and seemed combative about it. But the biggest issue was she then unforgivably, incorrectly prescribed my emergency meds, which would have been fatal if I had a crisis on my last trip overseas. It was a deadly mistake and I have lost all trust in her office.
I would sincerely NOT recommend visiting Dr. Punjabi as your endocrinologist. It seems like every time I need something from her, she always has some sort of push back to give. It doesn't seem to matter what situation either; when I was about to run out of insulin I had to fight with her for it, and now that I'm leaving her care I still have to fight for a prescription of enough insulin to last me until I find a new endocrinologist.
