Jason was the worst, as a 17 year old who never went into a hospital before. I have never fully recovered from the way these people treated me.
The staff were very nice and attentive. I especially loved Rachel, Pat, and Kathy. :) Very quick to get me in, and Rachel did my intake and did her best to make me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. The security guards there are the best, especially Seth!! Dr. Barstad also helped me a lot with different types of coping mechanisms instead of the unhealthy ones I was doing. What I liked the most about being here was that I wasn't forced to do anything. This place helped me a lot for the little while I was here.
Not worth it, takes forever to get in. I can find a therapist online that’s works better.
i was admitted in 2021 on false accusations of ‘wanting to kill my self’. i was locked in a room with a concrete slab for hours, i had basically no sense of time and sobbed for most of the time. i was in seventh grade. i was a child. when moved to general unit, it got slightly better. when i was obviously having reactions to a medication that i did not need whatsoever, i was told i needed to take a two hour long test. i was crying in a chair while having the worst heat flash of my life. my week there is now a bit foggy but i... read more
Worst inpatient i've been to, i was freshly 13 when admitted with 60+ year olds on the unit. steer clear if possible
