I injured both of my ankles and went to the emergency room at Sanford. It took a little while but I guess that's expected these days with short staff. Overall I think the doctor and the nurse did a good job with what they had to work with.
My parents kept going here although 3+ hours away vs just a few minutes drive at hometown because the staff and medical services are top notch. Although he passed a few hours after leaving we will always be thankful for the staff there!
I went in to the smcf ER with a medical emergency recently and I was treated with so much compassion and respect. My pain was managed so well and everyone was really supportive during a scary and sad time.
