This team is worth the wait. The provider and small group take time to set up, but the dietician also provides support, and I have seen her as often as needed. I have lost weight following her advice and using my current mental health providers for support as well. I am successful because I have reached out to other providers for support while waiting for Dr. Swan's small group to start. I was going to admit to Sanford’s but admission has been a pain. They don’t respond fast and I am coming from California and they told me you have to be 100% compliant with food or it’s immediate discharge no working with you and told me strait up that “if you can’t find a ride home coming from out of state there’s a women’s homeless shelter down the street” like I’m not going to spend hundreds to fly and then be afraid to get kicked out and scramble to find a last minute flight and be threatened with a homeless shelter if I... read more
I had weight loss surgery here in 2016 everyone was SO nice, friendly and helpful. Now thru no fault of theirs my weight is creeping back up so I am under their care once again to get it under control. Once again...even though many are different faces now 9 yrs later....they are friendly, helpful and make you feel like you matter and they are rooting for you. If they run behind on appts I never get upset because they will take the time and care needed with my appt too!
