I went to WWE NXT #NXTSanford in November and it was an amazing night. I travel around the state to attend a lot of cards in various buildings and Sanford Civic Center is one of the most beautiful interiors for a Civic Center. The wooden arches, the high ceiling, the round design. If concessions were available at these NXT events though that would be welcomed. Perhaps partner with a local non-profit, civic organization or school and allow them to keep the proceeds? Nonetheless a beautiful building and a great place to watch ... read more

I was at the Sanford Senior Center, which is just behind the Civic Center and it was very Friendly and accommodating. The staff was happy to help any way they could and the place was clean. Both buildings are older, but in great condition. The Senior Center has a game room with pool tables and such along with a string of rooms with movable walls to adjust their size. There is a long enclosed hall with a ramp to access the rooms and a continuous window that overlooks a small park like setting with a view of the lake.
