Do not send your loved ones here, it’s better you make the extra hour drive to Mitchell to receive better healthcare. The staff here are very prejudice against the Native Americans that come through. Sanford chamberlain needs a better and professional person to answer their calls. This is the only hospital with is 60 miles of our small town and is known for their lack of care and hospitality for all their patients. I called the hospital on my way in 30 min away and let them know what happened and we were on our way with my 8 year old som who Clearly has a broken wrist, after an hour and half of sitting he was given ibuprofen for his pain, after he was taken into do X-rays. It is now 1 hour and 45 min into our visit .
a month ago I had to rush my wife here because she couldn't stand sit up and talk clearly they did a CT and said she's OK and released here. the next day she wasn't any better so went to another hospital where they found out she suffered a stroke and because this hospital didn't do the proper test and treat here it probably caused permanent damage and she will probably have to use a walker for the rest of her life. as soon as we find a attorney we will be filling charges for malpractice
