I was in a Legit Kit paper piecing class that Karen taught, and it was excellent! She is an excellent teacher, and always kind and considerate. Karen, always makes sure that everyone understands the instructions. The class was ran professionally, and she makes them fun. I have taken classes at Sandy's Fabrics for years, and enjoy being in Karen's classes. Keep up the good work! You will always be one of my favorite teachers.

I’ve been going to Sandy’s for 3 years and have had wonderful experiences with every staff member, past and present. This truly is my 2nd home!! They’re friendly and helpful when getting to know my machines, and always on hand to fix problems big and small. The classes and instructors are the best. Karen’s classes are excellent. I signed up for a class at Sandy’s that I was very excited to take. Instead we were subjected to a very racist group discussion led by Karen and Tina, targeted specifically on “the blacks” and “the indians.” This is never appropriate or acceptable, and has zero place in a quilting class. This is out of alignment with my values and I will never give Sandy’s fabrics another dollar or minute of my time.

I have purchased many machines at Sandy’s dating back years. They offer wonderful classes to augment each new purchase. I also have had the privilege of taking many classes there. Karen and the other teachers are always knowledgable and respectful to all in the class, no matter their skill level.
