Agree with others that her communication needs to be worked on (I think it may be someone else who does that for her?), to the point that I was frantically emailing other hair people when the clock was ticking and I thought she was ghosting me. I booked with Sandy Xiong Beauty in July of 2025. She was super sweet and did a great job on my hair and makeup trial. I genuinely don't know if she has had a rough wedding season or what is going on but her communication skills are ROUGH. It was very difficult for both me and my day-of coordinator to get a solid answer from her regarding timelines and whether or not we would be granted a second artist (even though we met the 12 service threshold to warrant two artists). - poor communication would take a week with follow up emails needed - wouldnt guarantee a second artist even though the minimum services required were met. Only sent updated two artist timeline after they had terminated the contract - took no accountability in lack of communication - cc'ed me on the wrong bride's timeline and invoice - spelt the brides name wrong multiple times Overall very unprofessional

My fiance and I greatly struggled with working with Sandy. Sandy spelled my fiances name wrong in almost every email, was slow to respond, and often left large portions of emails unanswered. Beyond that, and even more frustrating, when we reached out to try and cancel services, she accused us of a conflict of interest and said that OUR communication was the problem. From what I have seen her product is well done, but there is significant struggle regarding the administration aspect of her business.

Overall, Sandy is kind, flexible, and detailed when it comes to her work. Her prices are also reasonable. My bridal party and I appreciated her diligent services for our hair on my wedding day. However, communication is a large aspect that needs improvement. As mentioned, I specifically booked only hair services for my wedding.
