ABOVE AND BEYOND! My husband and I rented the Aspen cabin for the two of us and our son’s family of 10 (8 grandchildren). First of all the Aspen cabin was BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT for our large family. The grandkids even commented on how much they loved this place! They really enjoyed the incredible beach area and the pontoon we rented for a day. Sandy Pines is in a beautiful resort in Backus. It was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed fishing, boating and kayaking on the lake. The beach was well kept and kids enjoyed many hours playing there (and off their devices!). The cabins were well kept and stocked with all necessities and suited out family game nights well! We will be back!
This resort is one of the best I've ever stayed at in the great state of Minnesota. We had the second biggest cabin at the resort for Mother's Day weekend comfortably lodging 7 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. This cabin was so nice from the outside to the inside located right on the lake. Multiple showers, full kitchen, multiple refrigerators and great themed decor.
