Had a horrible experience here. Entered their PHP program Nov 2024 and was kicked out January 2025. Had difficulty arriving on time and did my best to attend everyday. No one was in charge at the time and everything was extremely uncoordinated. Never had a one on one therapy session either. Eventually discharged for attendance but in hindsight they should have recommended me for inpatient. Lost my job as a result of the discharge. This place was not worth the money. My adult child went there in 2025 as an outpatient and the staff just wasn't strong enough for our family dynamics. The family therapist didn't have the tools to navigate difficult family systems. They need to hire psycholigists and people with signifcant experience. My child only stayed about a fifth of the time and then left but we still had to pay thousands of dollars (that we didn't have) for the full time period.

The therapists consistently fail to make the space safe and the activities are unplanned and useless; especially Friday’s where you watch a movie. I was bullied while here and the staff wanted me to keep going to groups with my bullies like nothing happened because they wanted to keep getting my money. Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere else if you have options.

I was so stuck in my childhood trauma that I couldn’t live the best life I wanted. I felt like I had lost my free will to my trauma, allowing it to keep me from being present in the moment. Sandstone care helped me a ton with my recovery of my mental health would not have made the strides I did without support from my great theparist like Romel, Brandon and lucy. Alongside the other amazing patients in group therapy! thank you
