Awesome nursing staff, very attentive and responsive. The food quality could’ve been better. My biggest complaint was the rooms didn’t have individual climate control. The heat was almost always on so I had to keep my windows open the whole time I was there to keep from burning up. Other than that I had a great experience at monument! Thanks so much to the nursing staff, you guys were amazing!
I have lived at the facility since 2019 and have enjoyed my time there. I will miss the wonderful staff and many friends that I have made over my time there.
Monument Health took over ownership of this place in March. The nursing team now highly prioritizes patient safety and is well experienced. BSN RNs make up about 95% of their floor nurses now.
I have visited a loved one here, Monument Health took over near the beginning of this year and the changes have been impressive. The management team & nursing team are entirely new from the previous ownership(s) of Avalon & Sandstone. They know what they are doing and the people that live here are very well taken care of.
