I loved it. :) hi I natacia the first I went to the sands was when I was 12 I loved it the game room was cool but not favorite place the pool was the bestes place there you can swim all you want until 10:00pm cause that's when everyone is in bed. Thank to the sands I had the time of my life that spring break in 2009 now I'm 14 and I going back this spring break. :)
BED BUGS !!! BED BUGS !!! We were surprised to find MANY bed bugs joining us in bed about 1/2 hour after turning out the lights. We have been frequent travelers for over 30 years and NEVER had this problem. The manager was indifferent to our problem, taking a Too Bad attitude. The worst hotel experience we have ever had.
A Moose? Stayed here during an event in the nearby convention center. Beds were comfy. The Suites, while a bit cramped, were a great value. I don't get the Moose.....
Like home away from home! My family and I had house repairs for 6 weeks that made it impossible to live in our home. We stayed in several hotels until the last week when we were so cramped and tired of eating pre-fab breakfasts, we left our town (near Everett) and came to the Sands. Wow! It was like home away from home with full bedrooms and a living room and a real kitchen! I would come back every time! My boyfriend and I had a bad experience in Westport so we decided to take a trip to Ocean Shores. The first place that caught our attention was the Sands Resort. The front desk was absolutely nice and very professional and we totally loved our room. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and the layout and design of the room was very modern and charming. Not what it appears to be The Sands Resort doesn't have what it looks like on the website. We thought we would have a somewhat modern, nice room when we booked our weekend. When we got there we were surprised. The rooms look like they haven't been updated since the '60's. They did have ocean views and you can walk right on the beach from your patio. That was the only nice thing about them. The hot tubs are not private and don't have accomodating hours for lovers at night. In general we were greatly disappointed.
