Very busy on a Sunday night quite late. The funding for 24 hour doctors is now gone unfortunately so we are left with crowded ER's in the late of the night. After 5 hours waiting I couldn't be comfortable so went home..... I wasn't End of the world critical so made the call. It's not the staff fault our hospitals are so under resourced so be nice they will do all they can to help with what they have.

I wish I could give zero stars! I waited over 4 hours today and ended up walking out without being seen! Apologies for the long review - this is shocking care from an emergency room. The waiting room cleared out 3 times whilst I was there - I arrived at 12.45pm and walked out at 5pm and never saw a doctor. Each time I enquired, as multiple patients were going through that arrived well after me, I was told that it was a different department and I was now fast tracked. I had a wonderful experience here because of Toby and Dave. They gave me a warm blanket and made sure I was okay while getting a needle as im scared. Cause no one likes being in hospital in pain but these 2 made me enjoy my experience 🙂

Whoever answered the phone for the emergency department tonight should be ashamed of themselves. You’re dealing with patients, some of which may be distressed. When someone calls to ask a question do not assume you know what they are going to ask and cut them off mid sentence. I was not calling for medical advice and I don’t appreciate the rude tone.
