I liked the quality of the assessment Sandra provided and the sports medicine doc she referred me to. However, as someone who works in healthcare myself, good patient care is more than the assessment, it's also a consideration of the financial burden the patient faces. At the very end of my visit she asked if I wanted a sling, and did not mention that I would likely be billed for the sling separately, or that the price of the sling would be SIGNIFICANTLY higher than if I just purchased it at a pharmacy.
